I can't believe I've never seen this place before. Superb steakhouse that cooks their steaks with charcoal.
Smokey and perfectly cooked steak. I'll be back here often. -

Long overdue review for June 2019.
Bday celebration for me.
Though the plaza may look sketchy, this place is certainly a hidden gem for fine dining.
The interior decor is definitely timeless but nonetheless has a nice charm to it.
The service is, especially the old friendly Greek guy who was helping us.
In terms of food I had their house salad with a very garlicy sauce followed by their delightful 16oz Tbone Steak served with vegetables. Cooked to perfection medium rare, however It was so huge that I could only finish.
Jen had their popular steak Diane which had a beautiful creamy rose sauce topped.
Overall both dishes were superb and their prices were exceptionally reasonable, better than the keg...sorry lol. -

If you are looking to have one of the BEST Steaks in T.O, this place is a must try. I ordered the 16 oz Rib Steak (rare) and it was absolutely one of the tastiest Rib Steaks I have ever experienced. It had a good amount of marbling and was cooked on a charcoal grill - a first at a restaurant for me :-). Each bite would melt in your mouth, mmmmmm.
The meal was prepared to perfection! Simple but very delicious. Anyone who has read any of my previous reviews, knows I like to keep it short, sweet and to the point. This review is an exception.
If you are looking for fine dinning experience and high end décor, Black Forest Steak House might not live up to your expectation (Décor dates back to the 80's). This a family run restaurant that focuses on preparing a delicious steak. I also had escargot for an appetizer and it was very tasty as well!

A charming little gem of a restaurant that prepares and delivers one hell of a steak. If you are a coinsurer of Steak and can look past the décor then this is a must try, old school Steak House. -

This place might look very old and not in a very decent area. The food here is amazingly good and cheap compared to other places. Service are exCellent and attentive. Their garlic bread with cheese is something you must order!! Come here if you want good quality steak with cheaper price.

Costco fries, plain salad, uncle ben rice, little caesars cheesy bread. great portions.
